Keep Calm Please

'Please Keep Calm' is a visual exploration of how the lack of empathy, and the expectation to 'stay calm' in moments of emotional turmoil, can escalate tension instead of easing it. The two smaller pieces of this triptych represent attempts to silence or reprimand those raw emotions, but those attempts only intensify the pain and despair we feel and as you can see on the main piece, often lead to an emotional outburst. I hope this piece resonates with anyone who has felt unheard in times of need.
